The Symposium is intended as a tribute to Professor Peters in recognition of his contribution to hydrometallurgy. This volume contains 59 papers including 6 plenary lectures giving an up-to-date assessment of 6 important areas of hydrometallurgy. Emphasis is given to significant new developments in aqueous extractive metallurgy.
